Day 3 - Virginia Plants
Objective:
Students will be able to identify products grown in Virginia and match the description of a Virginian product to its picture.
Materials:
"Virginia Plants and Animals" by Karla Smith
Bingo Board
Chips for markers
Lesson Overview:
Gather children to the circle with their ISNs (Interactive Science Notebook). Discuss the book "Virginia Plants and Animals" by Karla Smith. After reading the book, have children make a list of the plants they can recall in their ISN on the right page. Children then take a Bingo board and bag of chips back to their seat. Explain that they will be playing Virginia Products Bingo. After the activity, have children paste their Bingo boards into their ISN on the left page.
